Botanical Garden. The Botanical Garden cultivates around 7 000 species on eight hectares of land in central Lund. The Garden operates a wide variety of activities in the areas of botany, horticulture, plant preservation and environmental awareness, partly for the University’s teaching and research, but also for preschools, schools, the public and public authorities.

Botaniska trädgården (English: The Botanical Garden) is a botanical garden in central Lund, Sweden, open to the public daily without charge. The 8 hectares site contains 7000 species of plants, of which 200 are found in the greenhouses representing nine different climate zones. It is owned and operated by Lund University.
